As most of our closest family and friends know, we love going on new adventures! Last weekend we went to San Diego's Wild Animal Park. It is a bit inland, so it was HOT! Della was not very happy about the heat, but she is our little road dawg. That means she is down to go anywhere, anytime. Just like her moma!
This weekend we are participating in the 23rd Annual Bay/Bridge run. Its a four mile run that starts downtown, over the Coronado Bridge and to a beautiful park on the bay. This will be Della's first organized adventure.
Next week we are going on another adventure to Santa Barbara. Erica will be joining a Biatholon. She will be swimming a mile in the ocean followed by a four mile run. She wanted to do the swim and didnt know there was a run involved, but she decided to do both. Della and I will be chearing her on. I am not participating because someone has to hang with Della Girl (DG). I could handle the run no pronlem, but swimming a mile, IN THE OCEAN, AT DUSK, could'nt do it.
